@All_bonesJones it can still happen but I think I found the problem and making a real fix, sorry
@sun looks like that did it
@sun that too, but as other cultures adopted egypotion gods like zeus-ammun they didnt really keep the visual language and like this is less about respectingthe religious practice itself than it is about a specific artstyle that has an orientalist appeal
@Ree @sun @Tfmonkey very few ppl starting with late genx are going to be able to retire. I know I'm not. The math is just not going to work out. I've been putting money in a 401k since my early 20s and it's just never going to be enough money to retire. Social security is going to be completely busted by the time I'm 67, if that is even still the retirement age by then.
@Mark it's part of the problem for sure. The hospitals are making plenty of money though. Many of them are "nonprofit charities" that are exempt from corporate (and often property) taxes. Yet they do little to no charity care. They sit on huge amounts of money in their trusts. Hospital executives make huge amounts of money. Billing rates rise, physician pay rates remain flat.
@sun do you have any idea what causes this? common error last few days, it pops up when trying to scroll down the timeline and disables it. Currently can only see about 40 minutes of posts until it pops up.
