LADIES OF FEDI (all uhhhhh three of you (OH maybe some spinsterfriends?)): I have a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION. TLDR: about hair
:smug_cat:

STORYTIME - I used to think I had straight hair because my mother has very straight hair and I always kept it as long as it would grow (never "cut," only trimmed). HOWEVER, in recent years I have cut it to the shortest it's ever been (which is still long for some people.... maybe bottom of my shoulderblades?) and I have BANGS again, and I have learned that I actually inherited my father's wavy hair. BECAUSE MY BANGS KEEP FLIPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE OTHER DAY IT LOOKED LIKE A GIANT MUSTACHE ON MY HEAD :blobcatohnoes: But the rest of my hair is still long enough that it doesn't show the "wave"

SO

The question I pose to you: do I cut my hair more to see the wave? I LOVE long hair and I didn't even cut it to this (still "long" ish) length for... look I'm not telling you my age, you can guess :blobglare: but the point is I'm nervous and WHAT IF IT LOOKS HORRIBLE :blobcat_sad: Maybe I should cut it in increments? I just want to see if it would look nice with the waaaave (and maybe make my bangs look not as silly) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Help me ladies, I never thought I had wavy hair and have no idea how to make it look even more rad (or at least not silly) on me :blob_cool:

Thank you for reading my TED talk, pls send help :crackCat2:

(but we have far too many squash omfgooses you have no idea how much squash HEY DID YOU KNOW THAT A TRADITIONAL-ISH PASTA SAUCE MADE FROM SQUASH IS ALMOST INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM TOMATO SAUCE WHEN MADE WELL!? Boy do I and my digestive system know it! (it's still delicious but AAAAAAAAAAAA))

The squash that I've collected have overwhelmingly been from "mystery squash" - I fed some squash seeds to the outside chimkens last fall and some of the seeds germinated in the spring, even earlier than the ones I started on purpose, and for the most part, have been the most prolific.

I have so many GIANT "zucchini" that grow on a long pumpkin-like vine, "pumpkins" that were yellow before turning orange, and giant yellow what I assume are butternut-zucchini hybrids. Some are recognizeable (regular pumpkin or butternut squash). They all (so far) appear to be edible (the biggest concern is when they mix with gourds, which I don't think anyone around here grew, but I check JUST IN CASE), so I feel a NEED to use them.

I also started some delicata squash this year, though, and they have been GREAT. AMAZING squash, 10/10
But I am going to have to can so much :blobcatohnoes:
