My husband thinks it would be cute and "I can always grow it out again" but is leaving it up to me, I'm the scaredy cat 
I'm about 115lbs at 5'3" - I wouldn't say extremely thin but it seems to be good for me.
I don't think I could ever do chin-length, that is much too scary for me
Hm, I don't pay much attention to how quickly my hair grows since I just trim the ends once or twice a year. To that end, my trust in my hair dresser is: my hairdresser is ME. So none at all

This is why I'm considering a "little-bit-at-a-time" approach

OH OH I have a brush like that I've hardly used, and I remember hearing something about brushing it like that. I should try that on my bangs for now to see if that helps

My hair isn't particularly thick. I would have thought it was thin if not for my husband showing off how his hair is thinner 
so MAYBE it's not as thin as I thought. It's still not thick, but there is a little wave in the shorter parts

Two times my hair was almost cut because I couldn't get it back out. Once was professionally teased up for a high-school dance, and another was when it was braided up from the neck up to a ponytail and hairsprayed so the ponytail would be frizzed up or something. I can't imagine doing that on a regular basis

Lol but it's fairly true; I end up fretting and sketching and whatever I need to for far longer than I need, but then I usually just sit and paint until it's done. Sometimes I take breaks to chat on fedi, eat, etc of course, but I don't keep great track of time. The bigger ones tend to take longer, and there are times when I have to wait until a layer is dry (which may take weeks) before I can work in it again, but there are always exceptions
