If I bought the house 3 doors down with the exact same floor plan as mine I’d actually pay more in mortgage and that’s before down payment, PMI, etc AND I’d have to fix the fence myself instead of making the landcuck do it

@Eiswald @Hyperhidrosis Diamonds are a sheit, jew scam, but a nice ring set with a valuable jewel should become a family heirloom. It's a way of keeping wealth in the family and on your person (God forbid you would need to exchange it for your life)

It should also not appear too gaudy or else you or your progeny may part with it far sooner than wished

@tyler @Hyperhidrosis @prettygood theoretically if you save and invest the money you would have otherwise spent, you come out even but for now I split a house with a family member (they own it) so it's a sweet deal. If I had a real job it would be a no brainer but I don't so we ball onward.
