Got up at 3:30 to drive over an hour to get a family member from the train but I guess it's 1.5hrs late. I could have slept in ![]()

4Well, I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got run over by a damned old train
I love David Allan Coe 😎
The stupid website says they're "on time" when that's a big fat LIE
I was on a train that was two and a half hours late once, but they lied and said the delay was "only" an hour and 50 minutes so they didn't have to pay compensation.

11It's 4 hours one way, so an 8 hour round trip. My only problem is that I hate Mobile.....and I hate New Orleans.....and I'm not fond of trains, either.
I had a friend from Mobile and she said it's a shithole
LOL. If you're talking about the rotten egg/sulfur smell, I believe that comes from a couple of paper mills just west of the city.
My sister in in Alabama but the train here would be like 3 days to me
When the kids are older you can do it :)
It's a former French vine and olive colony that is older than New Orleans, but didn't retain the character. Since it's a port city, it tends to be very industrial. It has its good points, like they actually have the original Mardi Gras and there's a unique event called the Jubilee when a CO2 bubble that travels from the gulf into the bay causes delicious seafood to beach itself, so everyone runs down there with buckets and collects it all up and they have a huge feast.
Well, it's got a population of 200,000.....and it's like 48% black and 45% White.
More like a shitmobile ![]()
And also that sucks 😞
