LADIES OF FEDI (all uhhhhh three of you (OH maybe some spinsterfriends?)): I have a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION. TLDR: about hair
:smug_cat:

STORYTIME - I used to think I had straight hair because my mother has very straight hair and I always kept it as long as it would grow (never "cut," only trimmed). HOWEVER, in recent years I have cut it to the shortest it's ever been (which is still long for some people.... maybe bottom of my shoulderblades?) and I have BANGS again, and I have learned that I actually inherited my father's wavy hair. BECAUSE MY BANGS KEEP FLIPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE OTHER DAY IT LOOKED LIKE A GIANT MUSTACHE ON MY HEAD :blobcatohnoes: But the rest of my hair is still long enough that it doesn't show the "wave"

SO

The question I pose to you: do I cut my hair more to see the wave? I LOVE long hair and I didn't even cut it to this (still "long" ish) length for... look I'm not telling you my age, you can guess :blobglare: but the point is I'm nervous and WHAT IF IT LOOKS HORRIBLE :blobcat_sad: Maybe I should cut it in increments? I just want to see if it would look nice with the waaaave (and maybe make my bangs look not as silly) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Help me ladies, I never thought I had wavy hair and have no idea how to make it look even more rad (or at least not silly) on me :blob_cool:

Thank you for reading my TED talk, pls send help :crackCat2:

I always want bangs, but I always have the issue like that. They're an upkeep, and they always end up in my eyes. If you want to keep your bangs, you'll need to use product and possibly heat (they have heatless curls too) in them to keep them tame, you'll want to curl them out, add product like hairspray or gel. I also suggest letting them grow out to the length of your normal hair, then side cutting them (side bangs). This will keep them down, with the weight of your hair and where you can pin them back if they're not working with you that day.

My hair was pretty straight as a kid, my mom always had bangs on me, and if I get them as an adult, she always loves it too. But as a teen, I would have side bangs, easier to take care of and they grow out a little bit better. I desperately need my hair cut, and I'm thinking of getting bangs again, but I don't want to deal with it 😂 I usually get above my shoulders now because it's all split ends and damaged.

>"Jane Doe" is not a single person but a name used across law, literature, television, games and media to mean very different figures: a legal placeholder and anonymous complainant, multiple fictional characters (from NBC’s Blindspot to DC Comics’ Arkham inmate), and several real-world entertainment professionals who use the name or are credited under it

I AM LEGION!
