@prettygood@socially.drinkingatmy.computer @dcc@annihilation.social @pwm@darkdork.dev @vozercozer@vozer.cafe if you set up matrix with livitkit you can add an input stream that you can hook up to obs for high quality streaming. I think it supports audio as well. But your instance has to enable this in their live kit configuration.

I happen to have set up life kit yesterday, it gives amazing audio video quality. It's better than discord. The only downside is that for high quality desktop streaming with audio, you need to enable what I said previously.
@prettygood@socially.drinkingatmy.computer @dcc@annihilation.social @pwm@darkdork.dev @vozercozer@vozer.cafe i do actually https://tomfos.tr/matrix/livekit/
You don't have to do much with your matrix server itself. This all gets done in a well known file which points your client to another server which handles the conferencing.

There is another component, you may need it. Handles the authentication.I will look that up, but if you do the docker install of this it will generate the configuration files and prompt you for your setting. It is super chill.

The only tricky part it's that well known file.
When i'm done rotting in my bed.I will look at our configuration and send you some stuff :)
