Trump lied his ass off and said "I'll give you cheaper groceries and rent" while his unelected opponent said "ackshually if you look at the Harvard year-to-year inflationary metric it says your groceries are just as cheap as a year ago". There's a reason Kamala has done nothing but ride coattails her entire political career. She's incapable of standing on her own merits.

Trump kept winning not because he's some genius or great leader, but just because his opponents are so mind bogglingly retarded and disconnected from the concerns of the people that the people go for the guy that, while obviously lying, at least acknowledges that things exist. The opponents will deny the issues publically, in a "blue? what blue? there's no blue in the sky, and anyone who says blue exist is a white supremacist conspiracy theorist" manner.
