Thank you! Yesterday something happened when I was putting a ziplock away, I just barely turned my wrist and had terrible pain. The cyst like, dislocated and moved up and out of the joint in my wrist and tripled in size and hurt so bad I cinched my brace down as much as I could so it wouldn't move at all. Very painful and I am just taking it easy until next weekend when Ive recovered some from surgery 💓

Just logged into Fedi to update y'all ❤️ it went well, no bad reactions to any medication!! I woke up and go "it hurts" and the nurse is all "yeah surgery hurts" 🤪 I've been home for a few hours now. I have two followups appointments next week! Focusing on healing and getting ready for my leg surgery! I think I feel much better about everything now that I'm done with today. I associate surgery with C-sections and those are always pretty traumatic and painful for me. One moment I was laying down talking to the nurses about my kids and the next I'm waking up from sleep 😴

falling asleep and waking up after anesthesia is crazy
same thing happened to me when i got wisdom teeth out.
given a shot, talking to nurse about my hobbies for a bit, wake up on a couch.
same thing happened when i had a broken arm as a kid and they had to do a procedure to adjust it so it'd heal properly. they put a thingy over my mouth and told me to keep blowing really hard for some reason. 10 years later i realized that was their subtle way of getting me to inhale the anesthetic as deeply as possible lol

How'd your break your arm? Yeah he put the mask on and said it was oxygen and then a minute last goes "ok I just put the medicine in so everything is going to get a little twisted" and then a moment later everything twisted like some weird videogame battle cutscene, I panicked for 3 seconds, then I just shut my eyes and fell asleep

twisted??? like your vision?
that never happened to me i just immediately woke up somewhere else both times. the arm surgery was scarier for me because i was 9 and they're putting all this shit on me. when they told me to blow i was screaming really hard as i did it and one nurse was like "you don't need to scream you're ok" and that was the last thing i remembered. then i woke up in this bed in a really open room with this nurse. had that clamp thingy on my finger and the blankets were super warm and comfy.

i broke my arm because my older brother and i were jumping on the trampoline and he did this thing where he'd bounce me super fuckin high. the 3rd or 4th time i get bounced up and broke my fall on my right hand. it was enough force to snap it. my arm was all wobbly looking and i freaked out. mom put ice on it and drove me to the ER and they splinted it up. that night we ate pizza and watched the simpsons movie which our dad rented.
Oh man we have been so blessed to not have trampoline injuries. The kids love theirs, we haven't set it up here yet. The wind is killer I think even with sandbags it's gonna need something put in the ground to keep it secure.

And yeah I bet that was scary. I had my tonsils removed when I was 8 and I only remember laying in the bed and the doctor holding a reindeer in from of my vision and he counted santas reindeer for me (it was Christmas time)

And have you ever had vertigo? Or been dizzy? It was just spinning and so I closed my eyes 😌
