What's a field/domain you're suspicious hasn't actually made any progress in decades?

@gabriel climate "science" (models don't work), theoretical physics (standard theory requires all kinds of fudging to work correctly afaik), medicine (maneuvered themselves into a dead end in many areas, imo).
What's a field/domain you're suspicious hasn't actually made any progress in decades?
@gabriel it's hard to gauge this as an outsider, but probably most fields aside from perhaps biology and computer science (only because of AI). I say this because whatever progress has been made in most fields doesn't seem to be consequential, from a layman's perspective.
