My 16th birthday was on a Sunday, and the very next day I had my driver's license. Just a few weeks later I was driving 30 miles into the Big City, with five other teens in the car, going to the multiplex movie theater on a Saturday night.

Nowadays they have these "graduated" driver's licenses, and sixteen-year-olds are only allowed to have one passenger in the car with them.
He bought that M1A1 back in 1968, after he caught a couple guys trying to steal some of his cows. All he had at the time was a 20-gauge shotgun loaded with rocksalt, that he kept on a scabbard on his Moped scooter* for chasing off dogs.

*in the days before ATVs he used a Moped to round up his cows and herd them from field to field.
@pwm @Jonny @ArmadilloRancher @Captain80s thats exactly the problem.

THEY NEVER STOP CALLING.

Also, eventually I want to stop doing the labor, i'm tired of it. I'm hoping I can be off the labor in 3-6 months. But in order to do that you have to train people.

Painting is simple to train. The actual skill of doing it passably, is like 1-3 months. Handy man work on the other hand is MUCH more complex. You have to learn how to do plumbing, hvac, panting, patching, eletrical, etc. You don't need deep knowledge, but you have to have broad knowledge of a lot of systems.

Much harder skill to train. Plus...on call...so thats an immediate "No"

The midnight calls are not worth any amount of money...
