@sun @heavens_feel diablo guys were hyping up this new diablo mobile game as the hottest thing ever and everyone in the room could tell it was a garbage mobile game using the diablo ip instead of a diablo game, so he asked that question
@All_bonesJones @heavens_feel @sun That whole presentation was a wonderful source of cringe. The guys presenting had to basically stay up there and take the boos from the crowd.
All the problems of gaming are right there:
The audience tells the industry repeatedly in precise terms what they want and the industry stubbornly decides to make something other than that. I don't play diablo but as someone who wants more turn-based games, to have older games faithfully ported to modern platforms ("problematic" elements intact), and to get cheesecake fanservice Japanese games, I deeply identify with the disappointed guy asking if the presentation is an April Fool's joke.

@heavens_feel @VD15 @All_bonesJones @sun I didn't buy the Live-A-Live remaster a couple years ago because it had censorship. and I like that game.
