I brought this over from the States to help me with meal prep. It only draws 45 watts and will work well for reheating meals or cooking things slowly. I'll check tomorrow if Daiso has a baking dish that'll fit it - and if they don't, amazon likely will.

What with the discussion of age verification it'd be a really good idea to get the iso of your favorite distro(s) _now_ before they take down all legacy downloads without the age verification. It could also be good to keep their torrents seeded.

I sandwiched tomato sauce, spam, cheese, tomato sauce, and corn between two pieces of naan to make an improvised calzone which I then heated up in that George Foreman-type grill. That was a nice treat. Next time I'll add some more vegetables.

@wd_5x5 @Sovereign @Koropokkur I like it but I want to say that it's not paradise. I'm still paying off my mandatory nenkin contributions which stacked up while I was moving. It's sad seeing a major part of my paycheck hoovered up by that because the money's just gone. I doubt I'll ever be able to draw on that when (if) I ever retire. I could have invested that money and/or bought bitcoin/gold/silver or I could have used the money to help my family. It's a tremendous waste.

There's an old Greek myth of Cronus the Titan, who devoured his own children ( Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon) out of paranoia and fear of losing his position. When I reflect on that and look at modern Boomer behavior, I conclude there's a lot of wisdom to be discovered in mythology and old wives' tales.*
* one of Cronus' kids, Zeus, avoided being devoured and eventually defeated him, sending the Titan to Tartarus (their version of heck). Not quite the Day of the Pillow but it is still a decisive victory, and a fitting reward for anyone who'd hurt the young out of greed and spite.

@PurpCat I had to provide support for windows also. They've since "upgraded" to windows 11 and I'm at the point where I want to say "You are on your own. You do it."
