Yes but can you run in them?
They're perfect. She won't be able to get away from you.
Please, if she stays near me for 10 minutes, she's decided she ain't leaving.

I got a new phone and half the emojis look ghey. Sorry Dagnar.
You know you can edit posts, right?
Yeah, but I don't know how to change the emojis on my phone. I'm boomer af about shit like that. I'm trying to avoid "Boomer Confirmed" status while being laughed at or I'd ask my niece to show me.

36That's why I never use those things. I remember when phone meant having a coiled wire you had to stand on a chair and hold up so it could unwind and untangle. I remember when you had to move a disc from a certain number and memorize numbers too! Fuck those spyware platforms!
I, uh, still memorize almost everyone's phone numbers (& birthdays!). It's part of my 'tism. Remember party lines?? "Only answer the double-ring, not one. That's the neighbor's..." lol 😆
I heard about the neighbor dying by being under a car jacked up inappropriately through the party line. 😭
That's a bad way to go. It almost happened to me once pulling the transmission out of my truck, but the God of Shade Tree Mechanics spared me. My friend was paying enough attention to render aid.
Holy cats... yeah, definitely no good! Sad, @Rlyn 🥺
Remember those ratchet jacks? Things were dangerous as fuck. I saw a guy get impaled through the chest when it slipped and it shot outwards.
I'm not sure if I do remember those 🤔 I was very young for the party lines, but I also remember rotary phones... I'm still hopefully only old to some zoomers & the alpha crowd. Humor me, Dag. Lol
It's no use fighting it. You're a boomer to Zoomers and Alphas.
boomer is an age range ..
not all boomers act like boomers
kids are just mostly fucking shitheads

They don't know that. I'm Gen-X and they think I'm a boomer. Basically, if you look at least 10-15 years older than them, you're a boomer.
Hey boomer. Need me to come over and download an email attachment? I can save a shortcut to your desktop
Can you teach me how to program my VCR to record my favorite episodes of Matlock?
My grandpa had some weird thing called a beta player? The little VHS tapes. Ha! He was an engineer & mechanic, & learned all the current things, though.
Beta-Max. The Jap answer to the VCR. It was actually better, but it never really caught on.
@zeke @fknretardlol @Dagnar @GoyGirl @LordOfTheKangs @Rlyn @ShowMeYourLibrary it didn't catch on because of its "better" recording limit of an hour and twenty minutes. Its single advantage was the possibility of being used for digital audio (like a DAT) with adapter hardware for the recorder.
Once VHS hit the market, Beta was continuously playing catchup in both recording length and video quality. For example, to reach the low-end VHS 2 hour length with existing tapes, Sony gave you the option to cut quality in half on their second gen machine.
It wasn't a fixed standard and evolved over time, as VHS did. Eventually, it could fit 5 hours on a tape (VHS could do 8.)

They were even more dangerous as blunt force weapons during road rage combat at the nearest stoplight. More than one bro has met his end that way.
