@sun how hard did they try to narrow down who it was 😭????
@subnetter office was connected to a manufacturing plant that ran 24 hours a day!
one time they laid off a ton of people, and somebody walked into a server room on the way out and stole an entire server and they never caught them either.
we saw it happen live, we had a big map with all our networked sites, it went offline and we remotely tried to start it back up and couldn't reach it, so we called up somebody to go in there and diagnose the reason the server was unreachable. and they replied "...it's gone. someone took it."

@sun @subnetter the factory my dad works in once had a fire overnight and parts of the hall burned down. there was one desktop that almost got damaged but somehow survived, he marked it down as "destroyed" and then brought it home for us to play games on
@sun @subnetter yeah I love my dad
@sun @subnetter In 4th grade there was one kid who was shitting all over the toilet in our classroom. We had a grad student teacher who came up with a system where we need to sign a bathroom log and if somebody finds it dirty then the person before would have to clean it even if they didn't make the mess.
The shitter kept doing it and nobody ratted anybody else out and we eventually made teacher cry in front of the whole class.

@tomey @subnetter @sun i worked in a hospital lab with mostly indians and chinese. almost daily in the mens restroom, someone would piss all over the floor and the it would basically be flooded with piss. nobody ever did anything about it cause i guess nobody wanted to be the bathroom police
@meowski @subnetter @sun @tomey adding a bit of olive oil to the slurry might cause someone to care about it a great deal more than if they can just slosh through on their soles.
@sun @subnetter It was me. I'm not sorry, you all deserved it AND it was funny.
