@Rocket@shitposter.world @sun@shitposter.world @meowski@fluf.club @parker@cawfee.club you should try omp
@parker @meowski yeah a good agents.md/claude.md helps incredibly. it turns out prompt engineer is a real thing, I mean if you accept the altready watered down usage of engineer
@sun @parker @meowski effective markdown files beyond the agents/claude.md is such a game changer. Also, effective subagent deployment with the right harnessing is huge too. At the point where I get these bastards to do most of what I need them to, it's all about token economization now -- which is an ongoing game
@All_bonesJones @parker @meowski @sun any free tier is going to suck and be severely limited, these companies need the money
@sneeden @parker @All_bonesJones @sun free claude is usable for some fairly complex tasks. the model itself is good but the tokens are very limited and you're constantly waiting for access. free chatGPT is dumber but gives you more tokens, however it will cut you off "data analysis" which means it won't do things like upload/download files.
@sun @parker i'm using only free models at the moment and my experience has been the opposite. free chatGPT will happily take you in circles forever, so it is more generous with tokens, but claude zeroes in on issues faster. only problem is the free claude is real stingy with tokens so you have to wait for it. i use chatGPT for lighter tasks and claude for more difficult ones. but maybe the premium models are different idk
