If you are against universal ID or central government databases you're a fucking idiot. IRS has all my tax information from my employers but doesn't have my national health care tax forms for some reason, and I can't get them because the healthcare website can't verify my identity in less than 7-10 days after uploading my passport despite my IRS account knowing my identity and obviously I paid all my taxes using this identity as well as have a federal id that they just can't verify. This is fucking insane and idiotic and anybody that defends this shit should be put in a mental asylum.

@sun @CapitalB and remember, on top of that, juan and his friends come in, give whatever name they feel like to escape their prior criminal history, and then are politely asked by our government where they would like to be settled in the interior of the us, and then they're handed our productivity while the same gov doing the handing out tells us they'll put us in prison if we use words that hurt the feelings of criminals

nofx was right about something, murder the government
>If you are against universal ID or central government databases you're a fucking idiot.

You're mistaking accessible information with goverment incompetence.

I will guarantee that even if you centralize information the US goverment would 100% fuck it up and employ bureaucratic procedures to even look up table entires.

And that's assuming they don't sell all of our info or poorly secure it.
Why use a redaction tool when you can use a black highlighter on a pdf. :DonTrumpJuju:
@dictatordave @CapitalB a friend of mine couldn't get a bank account at our local bank because "someone" was already using his SSN. He said, but it's my ssn. they said, it's already being used. he said, then give me the money in the account since it's my ssn. they said it's not you. he said check their ssn. they said they can't for "privacy".
@sun But if we make gov't issued IDs as hard to forge as an early-2010s debit card, then websites and ISPs will feel more entitled to demand it on every connection

I know a guy who gave Facebook a photoshopped birth certificate matching his online alias to reactivate his account after a suspension for bogus community standards violation charges
