authentic christianity prior to platonism didn't have separate souls from the body. things like demons being disembodied nephilim are later changes

@monkey @sun eughhfhghgfhs posts made to give me a headache tbh bc i kinda agree (though there is much one might validly point to against me on this) but also platonism was a good influence on christianity actually (taken rightly)

@monkey @sun i dont think christianity being eternal and true and being worth understanding philosophically through other tools are mutually exclusive

@monkey @sun i think if anything, the fact that christianity suited much of the greek philosophical tradition better than the religion it initially arose under is points in its favor
