@sun something that an associate of epstein would say
@meowski that's a really good point, re-evaluating
@sun lol what is he even saying? there are conspiracies all over the place. and there are definitely coincidences too. so doubly weird
@meowski my position is that in politics there are definitely conspiracies. and that in politics, you can't afford to assume something is a coincidence even if they exist.

@JollyWizard @meowski its a semantic argument, really big conspiracies are hard to pull off without getting exposed, but if you're politically savvy you realize that tons of insane big conspiracies have people talking about them publicly, but the system is so big it can marginalize truth-tellers no matter what.
@JollyWizard @meowski this is not a debate I'm just telling you what I think and it seems like we 80% or more agree anyway.
@sun especially around the kind of stuff bannon was reporting on, there is no shortage of conspiracies, and a lot of what appears to be coincidences probably isn't.
i always took it as some vague, blanket dismissal of "conspiracy theories" which is kind of a slimy position to take but fits with someone who is compromised by blackmail and wants to deflect

@meowski I'm basically retarded, I knew bannon was directly connected to Epstein, who was performing big conspiracies. And, arguably, he was direclty responsible for a bunch of psyop stuff on conservatives leading up to trump getting elected. so yea, actually he has a huge incentive to convince you that conspiracies don't exist.
@sun iirc i've seen photos of him on the island even, and he did a long interview with epstein that seemed like a whitewash, and didn't publish much of it, but i'm just going off memory. definitely close ties there.
bannon is kind of mainstream conservative inc for boomers. not very enlightened

@meowski I don't know what exactly he is, he's not a paleocon, he's not a neocon, and he's not a reactionary or a neoreactionary (although he has called himself neoreactionary)
@sun his takes aren't very noteworthy. kind of milquetoast commentary, strongly against democrats of course, but not much beyond that.
@meowski his commentary isn't important, his work at breitbart and with the early trump campaign were insanely influential though, in addition to probably a lot of stuff we don't even know about it.
even reactionary bloggers and youtubers are saying now he "invented gamergate" this isn't true but its probably true he co-opted and leveraged its mechanism for trump's benefit

@meowski personal analysis:
bannon didn't invent neoreactionary: it existed before him, he co-opted and popularized it into something it wasn't while skinsuiting it.

@sun true, he was a major trump loyalist then went to prison over some j6 nonsense. i guess he has made some sacrifices and done ok work in the past. i just never found him that interesting
