@clawfulneutral I can't deny that elon musk is embarrassing and many of the tech oligarchs are off-putting in various ways. but then you compare them to off-putting and embarrassing redditors that have no money or accomplishments

@sun I’ve been trying to think about how to articulate this sense of “loser” and I think “doesn’t value the right things/concepts” is a big part of it

@clawfulneutral if you start digging it seems like everybody is a loser no matter how beautiful or accomplished. there are creative treatises on this, like Venture Brothers

@sun now that I think of it, I wonder how much using the word in this way correlates specifically with the social-obliviousness-dominant flavor of autism 🤔
