@WandererUber @SoylentGroyper @nugger This is basically reinventing the doublewide/manufactured home, and the logistics chain for those is already well solved.

@WandererUber @SoylentGroyper @nugger i can't think of any that assemble as a 2 story unit and Im not sure HUD code allows for this. You would have a very narrow structure. There would also be a question of what to do with the second floor frame. In normal manufactured home construction the steel floor frame also serves as the transport conveyance.

@nugger @WandererUber @SoylentGroyper There's typically a crane on site anyway for the installation. the question would be about wind loading calculations and how much modification would have to be made to the base and foundation in order to not overturn.
