According to a post i just found from @nixCraft , the techno fascist predator company, geewwwgle, removed uBlockOrigin from their garbage browser a couple years ago, lol.

I'm sure that unlocked a heap of new funding from the central banksters and the epstained class.

I cant believe these predators are getting away with this stuff. Being off fedi for 19 months almost feels like i'm having to rediscover the world again, it would be more fun if i was discovering good developments tho.

for the record I'm an advocate for good digital hygiene, and using Tor Browser in 'Safest Mode' and with uBlock Origin.
>> But uBlock Origin changes your browsers fingerprint!

Yes and no. It changes your fingerprint in ways that are not noticeable by anyone but you 98% of the time. For the other 2% of the time (where you access a site that is actively colluding with the tech predators your browser fingerprint matches the average TailsOS user, because TailsOS packs Tor Browser with uBlock BY DEFAULT....

....which is AWESOME! Dear Tor devs @torproject can you see this?

Safest Mode blocks javascript by default but if you drag the NoScript addon back into the toolbar you can enable js for the sites YOU choose....like ur fediverse, etc. This is how Tor Browser was years ago but they made a bad decision to remove the addon from the toolbar so the next generation of privacy conscious ppl would find Tor difficult to use. To enable js without NoScript a user needs to RESET their browser. Ie. Close the browser and lose ALL their tabs and start over. When they want to stop js (for ALL sites) they need to restart the browser YET AGAIN. Totally unusable.

Why? They take money from entities that dont want the average person to use Tor. They want Tor to be used only by 5% of users who a most adament in protecting their privacy. Or for Tor to be used in a country that blocks dodgy websites designed to intoxicate and brainwash the youth of that country, eg. fecesbook. If Tor were to become too popular it would end a bunch of golden handshakes, and attacks that the predator class exploit. So they had to make it a little bit crap by default.

I recommend going a step further and blocking common C.A.G.E.M.A.F.O.A. servers that have been able to dupe web developers into including snitches into their sites under the guise of convenience. Block information leaking to geewwgle, cloudflare, and scam'azon by blocking their Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and video sites, that some developers try to embed into their webpages.

Go to the uBlockOrigin settings and 'My filters' tab, then copy/paste the following domains, one per line, into the text area and click 'Apply changes' to block them:

If you have a suggestion for another domain to block I'd be intersted to know about it, but I check every website I visit for dodgy third-party requests and have not seen more than these. The rumble one is a guess by me....dont beleive ive ever seen a rumble embed, maybe a couple years ago just b4 the browser killed itself. @p @silverpill @sohrab @gabriel @caohuak

NEW domain to add the above uBlock block list, recently fonts.bunny.net was turned over to amazon. if you wish to follow my block list it should now read as:

@frogzone @torproject @nixCraft @silverpill @sohrab @gabriel @caohuak Seems like it'd be easier to just have a look at the ASNs for who owns the address space the IP resolves to than to maintain a list like this. Easier than it looks, you know, you can just download the NRO delegated stats DB, it's a flat text file, and you can correlate it with publicly available whois/RDAP. If you cache it and do the CIDR math (`prips` has a way to ask for inclusion, I *think*), you can just collect this information passively via dnsmasq.

That having been said, like, I'm not sure what this list is intended for, like, what the purpose is or how it's supposed to accomplish that purpose.

Yes and no, by nipping the requests by domain name we avoid the DNS leak, also I don't believe uBlock is able to block based on ip address ranges, tho I may be mistaken, the third limitation is by scanning all the IP address ranges it might cause reponsiveness/slowness issues.

>> "what the purpose"

Block the most common extortion methods that the CAGEMAFOA have been able to suck web developers into adopting, under the false appeal and false economy of supposed load times.... and doing so in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Only in browsers. I'm still not really sure what the plan is.

I already get that for free by running Tor: everyone blocks Tor.

But I'm still not sure what the goal is. Block them for what? Why's a DNS leak matter? If you're using Tor via SOCKS5 to begin with, you're not even really "leaking" anything, because DNS resolution happens through the proxy. Like, is this a privacy thing or...?

@p @sohrab @nixCraft @torproject @silverpill @caohuak @gabriel

>> Only in browsers

Most ppl use a browser to access websites

>> still not really sure what the plan is

Place the above list in the My Filter section of 'uBlock'. It destroys data leaks, sometimes by making a request to a server you reveal things about yourself, your setup, the page you are viewing, this may be anonymized in the case of using Tor but even when using Tor it is possible that you reveal information about yourself and even the exact page you a viewing. This enables vast meta-analysis at the very least. If a news outlet uses cloudfront for the image on their site for example just by getting the image you and EVERYONE who uses that site tells sc'amazon the issues that matter to them, thus opening up users of that site, and any possible users whose demographic overlaps in anyway with the target demographic of that site, to mass manipulation/indoctrination methods.

The plan is to starve their datacentres/servers of data they can use to target and attack humanity on masse using targeted AND aggregated data, as they have been.

@frogzone @sohrab @nixCraft @torproject @silverpill @caohuak @gabriel

> Most ppl use a browser to access websites

Are those people using uBO?

> It destroys data leaks

Well, it gets browser-based traffic to not try to resolve or connect to those hosts. You could use Tor or Privoxy. A bigger leak is all the DNS prefetching if you're worried about that.

> sometimes by making a request to a server you reveal things about yourself

If they can be associated with an identity, it is possible, yes.

> EVERYONE who uses that site tells sc'amazon the issues that matter to them

I have built analytics systems, yes. I know what they are for, how they are used, what can be extrapolated by a good data science team, I'd really rather not get the basics explained to me; you seem to be mostly broadcast/read-only sometimes. The question was what you are trying to actually do.

> The plan is to starve their datacentres/servers of data they can use to target and attack humanity on masse using targeted AND aggregated data, as they have been.

I do not think that blocking these hosts accomplishes that goal, though. You're baling water with a thimble but also we're on land with the house on fire.

There's a TV remote with a microphone in it, the Amazon Fire Smart TV system inside the Samsung TV can and does relay conversations in your house up to Amazon and Samsung. You walk past a Ring camera when trying to duck a Flock camera and when you notice the Ring camera and curse, the Alexa tube on the dining room table on the other side of the open door catches it. You know how impossible it is to have a conversation somewhere that an Android phone won't pick it up?

This isn't to say that the situation is hopeless but Amazon is not top of my threat list and uBO settings are pretty far down the list of things that mitigate Amazon. You might have a better time if you look into Privoxy and maybe get into amateur radio.

>> CBDC

if people are not willing to block the 30 most prevalent cagemafia domains what hope is there for blocking cbdcs. in fact, i would argue it is the abilty for the predator class to mediate or inject themsleves into almost every communication ppl have on a web browser, is more damaging in the long run than seeing an occasional payment. As we've seen with the sanctions on ICC representatives, on russia, on truckers, on anyone, any attempt to control ppls payments is met with an extreme response. So if i had to choose between comms or payments, i want predator free comms.

Payment is downstream from comms anyway, payment is a type of comm. comms are not a type of payment. Comms win.

@frogzone @sohrab @nixCraft @torproject @silverpill @caohuak @gabriel I'm saying that the people buying the communications infrastructure are the problem. Google is disposable: who is the reason Google took off and why does it maintain its position?

:shitassdickfuckfluoride: https://wikileaks.org/google-is-not-what-it-seems/

The piece that Assange missed is what changed. The repeal of the firewall in Glass-Steagall absolutely flooded the industry with VC money and you look at who repealed it. And that came with banks dictating that tech companies needed professional management types to be in charge. Then you get consolidation and institutionalization, and who drove it?
