@pepsi_man @SPCmovienight because they don't do basic hip hop mixes for tv shows these days so if you're not watching with headphones or a good home theater system you can't hear half the shit they're saying
I need um for pajeet and Scottish English.. And in general, the npcs on TV do not speak clearly anymore for what little of modern TV ive been forced to endure.. .. they mumble and use zoomerslang and have booming music mixed over their voice.
@pepsi_man @mitchconner @SPCmovienight Shitposter Movie Night started using subtitles for everything when we watched the Stallone movie Cobra and no one could understand what the hell he was saying. plus, we have lots of ESLs in the audience.
@noyoushutthefuckupdad We had at least one viewer who was hard-of-hearing and particularly appreciated it. I didn't even find out until we'd already run a few shows with him watching
@ullard there could be deaf people in the audience for all I know.
@noyoushutthefuckupdad I always watch with subtitles even alone now. Re-watching movies I used to watch with my dad 20 years ago, it's pretty nice catching things I never noticed before, or heard wrong
