@noyoushutthefuckupdad I always watch with subtitles even alone now. Re-watching movies I used to watch with my dad 20 years ago, it's pretty nice catching things I never noticed before, or heard wrong

@rain @sun You might like "The Meaning of Liff" if you've not seen that before, which he worked on with John Lloyd, and which is way lesser-known. The idea was to re-purpose place names as words for familiar concepts in life that need names. @noyoushutthefuckupdad We had at least one viewer who was hard-of-hearing and particularly appreciated it. I didn't even find out until we'd already run a few shows with him watching
@noyoushutthefuckupdad usually easiest just to say youve been busy but "need to get back into it" which will prompt a few recommendations like the latest CoD or whatever, nod along, "cool thanks i'll check it out", "oh yeah", "is that right", etc until they stop
