some parents teach their kids Esperanto in side with their mother tongue, which is probably as close to a native speaker as you get.

@newt @kaia @RedTechEngineer there's a story about a family where the dad only talked to the new child in klingon and the woman in whatever language they used in their european country. anyway it turned out klingon doesn't have enough speakers to have fleshed out the vocabulary so the kid drifted away from using it. as an example there wasn't a word for "bridge" and you had to make up combination words to describe it like "walk-water"
@sun @kaia @RedTechEngineer that's how most revived languages create new words. Instead of borrowing the root, they take one or few existing roots and combine them into a new meaning. Icelandic and Hebrew both do this. The Icelandic for television (sjonvarp) literally means "vision-throw".
