maybe it's for the best. contrary to japanese ones, our boomers would never volunteer for cleaning up - they'd fear missing the next cruise.

@bonifartius how many immigrants in germany would stay if germany had a problem, I sometimes wonder about this kind of thing

@sun maybe some of the turks and italians who came 50 years ago. maybe some of the asians/vietnamese who are 3rd gen by now. they are invested here.

certainly not the majority of middle easterners, ukrainians and africans. they don't fucking care at all, judging from my experience.
