Some folks don't have finishing salt for when they eat steak or pork chops and that makes me sad

13It's usually a specialty salt like a smoked salt or one with seasonings. Usually a kosher salt or sea salt. Adds texture, flavor and a salty zing. We have 4 different blends at the moment.
Black Truffle finishing salt.
This makes pasta great.
And you add it after cooking the steak? I have Maldon regular and smoked salts.
I am not a fan of truffle. Tastes like gasoline to me…
Yes. I will usually get a portion cup and dump some out. Then I dab my bites of steak or chop in it before taking a bite. Heaven.
Really? Truffle, and really all mycelia, taste like savory used sweat socks (but in a good way) to me.
Yeah, truffle is savory, but it does have a petroleum like smell to it. First time i had it fresh in the kitchen i was looking for a gas leak. If you have strong smell might override your taste sensation i guess.
I smoke some super skunky and gassy weed strains. We're sorta in my wheelhouse right now.
I can not stand smoke. I don’t even like smoked foods. It only smells good to me on a cold wet raining day off in the distance because someone’s burning a brush pile.
Puts hair on the chest
I'm sure that's exactly what rose is after!
