I will say I have avoided hobbies such as woodwoorking due to the cost. I have houseplants, go camping, cook, and a saltwater aquarium along with my kids. But most shit is just unattainable if I want to give my kids a certain quality of life.

Women are the worst with this btw. I have not met many women that actually has a hobby. They sit on their phone or watch Netflix. Theres not many women that actually enjoys doing something for fun. "Oh I'm a very outdoorsy person" >walks a paved trail once a month
