@coon @sun Well depression (being in a depressed state) is real, and post partum (the period after giving birth) is as well, so post partum depression is just not a surprising thing, it's a difficult period for everyone involved, including the mother.
I don't know if it's anything more special than that.

I'm really depressed and have suicidal ideation sometimes but the fact that my pets would be alone and abandoned has kept me from doing anything can women at least care for their kids that much?
