I have my suspicions that the inability to focus is more of a learned behavioral trait than a "chemical imbalance in the brain" as it's been marketed, and can be corrected in childhood through good parenting.

This could also be the case. One of mine is definitely slower to develop but not full blown tard. My sister in-law reports that her son is demon possessed. My brother's child definitely has something wrong with him too.

But also, Madison and I don't do drugs and she doesn't drink, and we are actually there for our children and don't permit them to behave badly.
How it should be 😊 My husband is gone no less than 80 hrs weekly, but he focuses a lot on tard-son when home. My stepdad, too. Both help.

I don't drink to speak of... maybe 3-5X monthly I'll have 1-1.5 drinks. Sometimes it makes me a nicer mom, but that one can backfire fast, I know. Hasn't anyone ever considered a hangover w/a toddler is worse than death? 😆
Re-visiting this, & a sad topic... another medical pro woman whose title I'm unsure of, but I actually agree with nearly always, makes videos on this subject.

ADHD could also be a result of daycare. She says the cortisol level of young kids in daycare is through the roof, & their entire limbic system rewires dysfunctionally... permanently 😩
It's hard to focus on your ABC's when you fear being with rando teen spic of the day, & a ratio of 8 to 1 kids to caregivers.
