@sally @kernow @iwillbite you think your liver and and kidneys aren't rotting away a little every month that passes? you think you're gonna live forever? have you ever researched the teflon incident that happened on the USA, declassified just after the 90s? we can drink tap water here in South America without getting cancer at least. You can't if you live in North America.
And sorry for being aggro but I used to be a brat like you against most meds, specially antidepressants.
I don't take mommy Escitalopram cos' I feel sad - I spent 5 years with my doctor trying different meds of those because almost none worked and was suffering badly the effects of clinic depression. In the end we found the almost perfect SNRI, but I don't expect you to know what it is, after all you must be a social person full of Serotonin from interaction with random people and short talking with randos. Even today with all the problems I have and the utter loneliness, I can still go on, even if what's left of my family pushed me away.
@mac_ack it was working perfectly, but there were some things that I couldn't do -or rather, I could but were a bit inconvenient, like spin up a NGINX in a Docker on boot time to have a "personal page" everytime the computer was on (all day except a few hours at night). And I wouldn't install a NGINX on Windows, it doesn't feel "natural".
I wish I could explain better why I went back when I had no problems. It's the feeling of using my home OS, but also a new spin of it (I used MX Linux based on Debian for 4 years) - I'm discovering all the new services/daemons, programs, and changes they made for Wayland and other things with Fedora 44. It has been kinda nice for now.
@hfaust look at the header line "Bingo - full house of memory-safe utilities now included", and below, "updated 19 hours ago", I bet they will find really important stuff within coreutils that doesn't behaves as it should, breaking a lot of stuff. I also imagine most of the "migration" was done violently using AI.
Windows 11 it's really good, I had no problem with it. I have been using it for 1 months more or less. I had to use some software to "clean it" and make it look like Windows 10, the bar at least.
But I'm very sorry, I don't feel it natural, I open a terminal and I expect a terminal, not a command line, even if PowerShell copied a lot of POSIX commands.
I need to install Linux. I backed up the few things I needed, gonna try Fedora 44 KDE.
