It is fun, I also have the whole place to myself. I was just mentioning it because of the book by the same name "Bowling Alone"
I used to play alone during "lunch break" (when I had a "real job") sometimes, so there were mostly open alleys except for the days when the retirement folks had their league. Those were the best days though because the music was "oldies" and the league(s?) was a really funny mix of the REALLY really good old fogey bowlers and the ones lazily throwing it down just to be a part of the group that were mostly getting gutterballs, so it was great to be a fly on the wall.
I'm the only one in the building here. Feels like I have my own alley and bar
