@AmericanChampion honestly seems like Iran’s policy of just shoot everybody bit them here. sounds like it gave Israel a way to make Iran definitely shoot at America and drag us into a preemptive strike.
@Ghislaine IIRC it was Israel attacks Iran -> US attacks Iran -> Iran attacks regional US bases and Israel. I don't think they had any option that would've avoided these attacks.
@AmericanChampion Yeah I mean if it was going to be Israel attacks Iran -> Iran bombs the shit out of everyone including us, they made it rational to attack them just to prevent damage
@Ghislaine I think that's fairly tortured logic, at its best. Supposing a miracle had happened and America had left Israel high and dry, I think Iran would've held off on targeting American assets.
Even so, if the best justification for attacking a country is that it might've lashed out if our millstone of an 'ally' attacked it, the smart call is to cut Israel loose rather than to bail them out. The fact that the administration is down to stuff like this indicates that pretty much everyone knows it was a bad idea, which is a good sign.

@KingOfWhiteAmerica @Ghislaine Trump's the one guy who's not compromised by them; that's been established for a long time. Unfortunately, he feels a sincere loyalty to the U.S. government, and trusts a political establishment that's rotten to the core to give him honest advice.

@AmericanChampion @Ghislaine Even if he’s not personally compromised with his own dirt, It appears that he believes he stands to lose big if that data goes public. That’s what fits the data best; if it were simply blind trust in the goodness of the system, it fails to explain things like his administration’s about-face on the Epstein files, and the following Limited Hangout.
