@FiestaBun Hmm, I'd need to see your form in person to diagnose some things. But the next option is wall pushups (stand arm's length away from a wall, do pushups from there). Then you can slowly increase the angle over time to provide more resistance (table top, chair etc)

When my baby birb and I finished her first marathon earlier this year (technically an ultra because it was almost 28 miles) we dropped at the finish line and did a pushup for every mile then she did ten more because she is a retarded badass like that. She in the military though so push-ups are just thing. She is a cool chick. I'd totally drag her to bunland with me.

So, my conclusion was clear at that point.
