Jon Blow showed Elon talking this matter (in one of his presentations about how his quest to make a good video game will save humanity from extinction) and the latter said something about how technological progress is taken for granted but it's not actually true and he illustrates the point with the space program, which went from putting people on the moon to having to ask the Russians to transport cargo to LEO. He said it's not a guarantee that humans will become spacefaring, if this is the trajectory. This stuck with me.

space will always be cheaper than fighting the wars of the jew overlords or funding the infinity niggers EBT card for new jordans every month, but space or science outside creating new fags will never be the priority for epstein and his friends whom are deeply entrenched ruling the world.
at this point i think the nasa space elevator budget from ages ago would be a fraction of all the money burnt in every middle eastern war for the last 50 years.
