@yomiel the core idea i'm trying to explore is either "people accept such things when they accompany strong accomplishments" or if i'm being harsh "people only see such things as part of the show"

@TheTeka marilyn manson put on a pair of tits and tucked and got a hundred million views on youtube and who knows how many on MTV before it ate shit. david bowie put more mascara on than fucking lady gaga 50 years ago and got probably somewhere near a billion. they were both wildly successful for their time. the space landing had bowie in the background on tv. edgy kids were scaring the crap out of their parents with antichrist superstar. both danced around gender fuckery like it was ballet. and yet nobody looked at the dope show and went "TRANNY!!!"
