@zephyrotv Prequels were a poorly-written, directed, and acted story. A few more script drafts and better directing for the actors, and they could've been great.

My pet theory is that pissney wanted to just straight-up remake the original trilogy, just with more wamenz and kangz, like they do with their other remakes, but the contract when they bought the franchise forbids them from any remakes, so the sequels were the closest they could get away with.

The current goyslop writers at Disney have no respect for the source material, fan base, or story telling. It's just another vehicle for societal change and leftist propaganda. They can't turn off that need to make everything into their soapbox in as many ways as possible. That's why the sequels failed and why most of their live action has also failed.
