i guess since it is day 0 of pomf dead i will give my first update on what i've been working on

- i have about $80,000 coming in, in the next few months. a lot of that is going to digging myself out of the debt one accrues when buying a house, but also nulled capital expenditures, 128TB of drives for pomf, and lawyers for pomf and nulled.

- i have been aggressively rebuilding the infrastructure of nulled to be in line with my principles of resilience, independence, and simplicity. migadu is gone. cloudflare is gone. some crap management/oob infra on contabo is being killed this weekend in favor of yet another rack in my basement. we've got a complete network rebuild onto mikrotik devices coming soon. there's about a half dozen random VC funded SaaS vendors that are just going to get slashed because they serve no purpose. and you can now do crypto for nulled if you wish via stripe or directly via monero to me (annual contracts only) if you really want

- once the drives come in for pomf it is proxmox time because i'll have enough space to clone pomf over to the new storage. All VMs will move to the new cluster I've been sitting on. ETA is hopefully by the end of the month with proxmox done by the end of april or mid-may. i will get some blog posts done for this because if anyone else wants to move off of VMWare to Proxmox, I literally have an enterprise sized deployment, and would love to help give the middle finger to Broadcom

@ube that seems to be the general consensus. i use signal for just general 1:1 messaging but there hasn't been any sort of rich text multi chat stuff i've tried outside of telegram which i don't think i want to get into, and then everyone is salivating over delta chat
@pernia @7666 the chatmail servers it can use are kinda neat they handle emails like they're instant messages and do some other neat stuff that makes me presume they can only work with each other and at that point why are you still larping as sticking to standards
@ube @7666 @pernia the chat relays are postfix/dovecot with anti abuse and auto registration mechanisms, it's still mail and should work fine as long as the destination accepts it, it's not like the standards control deliverability
@i @7666 @pernia huh, i guess i didn't look into it enough, i'd sweat some of the shit they use for the featureset is nonstandard, at the least the iroh and "p2p realtime" stuff i fail to see how thats standard email but who knows maybe i'm mistaken again and its some weird working hackjob or something
@ube i love scanning my face to use a basic service i love age verification i love groomers and sex pests congregating in "servers" they think they own while furry pedophiles and AI trust and safety scanners decide your fate like some secret council so they can clean up their image for an IPO i love tech companies
