The main beef I have is cultural, including religious ideology. Some cultures simply aren't compatible, and if they're living together there either need to be strongly and uniformly enforced civil laws which prevent conflict (and curtail some cultural habits), or it's gonna go badly. I think that's becoming more and more obvious to most people in the present day.

@toiletpaper the problem with religion is it's so popular and people are born into it so it has dual function as an ideology and as an identity, it's not above criticism but I do feel the need to be careful.

Where some religions are concerned, criticising it comes with personal safety issues. That's why I feel all the more reason to not be intimidated into silence. As to offending people, I try to temper my words depending on whom I'm speaking to and what I think they can handle hearing. If they have a decent attitude, I weigh that into the tenor of my words. That goes for other Pagans too, because a lot of the time I find the beliefs of my supposed co-religionists to be abjectly retarded. But if they're otherwise decent people, then I'm inclined to be diplomatic about it.
