Projects maintained by Shipyard will no longer have dedicated maintainers responsible for new features, bug fixes, releases, or long-term stewardship. These include: Kubo, Helia, Boxo, Rainbow, IPFS Desktop, IPFS Companion, Someguy, Service Worker Gateway, IPFS Check, and others.

2@sun I wanted IPFS to succeed. You enter an ipfs:// URL in browser's URL bar and see an image. Or a website. That was cool.
But somehow Protocol Labs managed to ruin everything.
@silverpill @sun I first heard about IPFS through winworldpc, but i don't know when they stopped offering it. iirc I still couldn't speak English and use a paid proxy to freely browse international websites.
I wonder who still remembers the RSS3 project now. It was pretty well-known in the Chinese-speaking Twitter community back then.
