When I get back to Japan

@vii yes. in fact a while back I was at the grocery store and I saw another white person only because their head was higher than the aisles

@sun Actually, this brings up another question I don't know anyone else in Japan to ask so forgive me for pressing

Have you been in Japan long enough that enough people know you and your level of integration, or do you still occasionally get "no tourists" "no gaijin" in places?

@sun Interesting, nice. I see things online but I haven't been to Japan in a long time, so I don't know for sure how things are. Thank you for sharing.

@vii I think it doesn't actually happen that often tbh but it does happen.

@sun Given the sources I've seen I've come to the conclusion that when it does happen it happens to people being blatantly disrespectful, not just blanketed to everyone.
