@sun that's not fresh-off-the-grill new, tbh. It meant "uncle" and then people started making it mean "uncool" and now it's both, dependent on context.

@sun i think unc (uncle) appeared because the people that first made internet memes finally started hitting the age to be called an uncle, and unc (uncool) just appeared because people misunderstood what the contraction "unc" expanded to.
