The best way to get people talking is to say something broad and open ended that people feel low stakes in replying to. Then before you know it a thread has started, but you have to be willing to help it along and reply to people who post in your thread. Sometimes it isn't anything you’ve said or didn’t say, it’s just a topic or subject nobody has anything to add to. Anyways, getting off of my soapbox. lol I talk too much.
