anyone want a steam copy of Exapunks (the unquestionably best zachtronics game, with the best minigame, the most interesting lore, a great soundtrack, and of course the most fun zach puzzles that arent exclusively impossible brain twisters where you have to optimize on a quantum mechanics level bullshit)

@lebronjames75 got a buddy that speaks highly of this dev but I've never tried any myself
What kinda puzzles?

@mirq the elevator pitch to the game is "program nano-bots who are physically running in the internet cables to manipulate the internet physically and affect your life for the better (or worse)"
the gameplay is, its programming puzzles in the style of assembly code, but one section of code isnt longer than 10 lines so it keeps the stuff simplified, im a low-tier coder and low IQ coder irl and i was able to beat it with great effort but only needed a walkthrough for like 1 level. im not the brightest man in this topic so if you are a computer nerd then its not gonna be a breeze, but it is going to be atleast challenging fun
the EXA is the name of the nanobot(s)
the punks is because the game is cyberpunk themed as hell, read zines and live in a dingy apartment

@lebronjames75 @mirq and if you're into more of a "real life" instead of cyberpunk, try Shenzhen IO.
neutral ground's gotta be TIS-100 (which happens to be my favorite among those for some reason)

@hj @lebronjames75 I see!
Just based off these descriptions exapunks sounds the most fun to me
Assembly-style seems intimidating but also I enjoy solving programming puzzles as I learn so it seems to be up my alley
Gonna give it a shot tomorrow I think

@lebronjames75 @hj I won't say no but if there's someone else who wants it who's morally opposed to piracy they should have it instead 😁

@lebronjames75 @mirq it's annoying a bit when frens play pirated games that have global leaderboards, I can't even measure how worse than them I am at the game. It's far from being a big deal but still.
