something i feel with many modern books i start is that even if they have some good ideas, the pacing and writing isn't really good. halfway through i'd rather read a synopsis on wikipedia.

@lain I've been doing this with movies and tv since Obama's second term
@pwm there's a bunch of super popular youtube channels that do nothing but summarize movies.
