@lain @coolboymew had a crazy moment where i asked (free browser) claude to write a .it (impulse tracker module file type, tracker music stuff) and it wrote a script to write a .it file in proper formatting and threw me a working .it file that i could play and render in openmpt, together with some simple Claude synthesized beep boop sample noises (simple sine and saws in correct frequencies)

all in one question, and it just worked

ran out of tokens after second question when i asked it to make a 5 channel song with 4 instruments in tracker format: the 10 second long song was bad but quickly salvageable to be "ok" with a professional manual touch for the "last 10% of the way"

was shocked how flawless it worked (yeah the file style is somewhere between json and binary, as it includes both text and audio samples in the song for, so not too crazy but still)

@lain @coolboymew tfw it will have 0 impact on my job(s) haha because i create the baseline value/source material that all further data is based on

i wonder if this will force a programmers exodus, as in the amount of programmers required for just writing da code, and we'll get more people back in manual labor (the backbreaking but always a bit different work day, not the warehouse kind, but other blue collar type jobs)

shit like plumbers have become way too expensive cause no one wants to do it and instead people are doing shit like telemarketer scams and "im programmer" instead of having a good plumber around

hopefully we get more plumbers now as a result prayemoji
