It's where the money is at. That is all, that's what drives JS and especially JS frameworks. Nothing more, nothing less. You aren't impressing many with RoR because it scales worse than PHP and if you say "Elixir", some PM will think you are offering them some magic drink that will solve his relationship troubles.
