@sun I think there's a lot wrong with water usage for datacenters but that's not related to the quantity and more politics.

Like the cities diverting the water supply to the datacenter causing supply issues to the city while increasing its costs but that's a different environmental/political problem

@kumicota there's a kernel of truth in it but it appears to be greatly overstated, there is a similar issue with electrical capacity that seems to be more valid, although you dig a little deeper and the issue is the usa has an old decrepit electrical grid that should have been modernizing for decades

@kumicota it is. on the other hand it is forcing modernization but I have read there is no way it can do so fast enough for the demand
