@sun the rough frequency of these events seems accurate, but being even a year or two off makes it useless, doesn't it?
@genmaicha @sun optimal trading doesn't exist in practice, so i don't think it does.
the big money is in market manipulation, insider trading, fraud, and whatever combination of those things its called when congress does it. otherwise its very speculative long games (what buffet liked doing), or buying dips (basically asserting that the market is being stupid and impetuous; which it often does)
