somethign i struggle with, probably because i'm a 60 iq retard, is solving problems when programming. Are there books I can read to deal with this?

the only programming book I have is 'Expert C Programming' by Van Der Linden
I dont think ive ever actually gotten and read a book on a language really that much since library docs are usually good enough. I do want to get a book on algorithms and mathops

It's like digging rocks out of the ground. It's overwhelmingly a solved problem and not fun anymore.
@tyler @theorytoe @harblinger This is why I tend to just public domain my code for small scripts, projects, or tools. It's rote, 99% of the time. I care about the things I might assemble with those tools, but I don't feel like the world gets better if I spend a few days or a week slapping together a tool and then charge $20 for it. Feels like getting precious about changing spark plugs or something.
